Mojang have released their first snapshot of 1.16 and the nether update!
If you wan’t to check out the new blocks and features early, follow the steps below to run the latest snapshot;
Requirements
- Minecraft Java Edition
Steps
- Open the Minecraft launcher and click “Installations”
- Tick the checkbox next to “Snapshots”
- Click “Play” next to the “Latest Snapshot” profile
- And that’s it! The latest snapshot will now load. As long as you play on this snapshot, new features will be available.
Warning
You should back up any existing worlds BEFORE loading them in the new snapshot.
